Floor preparation is a very important part of preparing your floor for Polyurethane or an overlay.

It’s not always easy to uplift Carpet - Cork – Vinyl or Ceramic tiles. But, it is something that you can attempt yourself. However you need to be aware of the hazards of Asbestos backed Vinyl’s.

Under no circumstances should you sand Asbestos. This needs to be removed in a manner that does not get particles airborne. Other Vinyl’s may be heated and scraped off or sanded.
